Patrice Vernand Performance Horses is located at Rancho Royale in the beautiful Ojai Valley. Patrice has been training and teaching horses and riders for more than 25 years. She has constructed a program that enhances the communication between a horse and rider. She excels in personalized training for both youth and amateur riders. Whether it be for the show arena or enjoying a day on the trail, Patrice is committed to maintaining a fun, safe and positive learning environment that encourages personal goals and achievements.

    Patrice specializes in the American Quarter Horse  industry preparing horses and clients that wish to show at AQHA horse show competitions. She provides training and coaching for such events as Trail, Horsemanship,  Showmanship,  Ranch Riding and Ranch Trail. While working on personal growth and attainment of goals through competition, she always wants to establish a fun and lighthearted sense of teamwork among her clients.

    Patrice also offers individual Riding  programs for people who wish to improve their own skills and goals with their horses but do not wish to compete at horse shows. All ages of riders are accepted no matter what their riding level, from beginner to advanced riders and horses. Private, semi private and group lessons are available.
